If it’s true that lets say Obama wants to protect the health of the mother with an abortion, where are the stats to show us how dangerous it is to have an abortion? Apparently many women have died and suffer much emotional trauma even years later. One way to debunk this "health of the mother" theory is to show that abortions could be the source of much negative and riskful health. Not to mention that it is particularly "unhealthy" to an unborn child to end their life.

You are 12x more likely to die due to complications in childbirth.

The bottom line is that when an abortion has been conducted; legally, safely, professionally and providing there are no complications arising from it, there is no significant risk to the future fertility of the woman involved. A properly performed abortion will not affect the woman’s fertility.

Why does no one ever criticize the women who are having the abortions? People will shoot doctors and bomb clinics, but these women are apparently guilt free. I’m not saying these women should be harmed, but shouldn’t they take some of the blame?

Don’t women have options? Can’t they place the baby up for adoption? Why do we never hear anything from the fathers of these babies? I don’t understand why so much hate is directed towards the doctors who perform abortions, when they are just part of a bigger issue. Am I naive? Would this make more sense if I were a woman?

I think I may be pregnant…. It keeps getting closer to the day im supposed to start my menstrual cycle but im afraid that im not going to start… im on birth control I also used a condom but it broke. If you tells them you have no job, no money and no support they will likely have you pay the minimum for the procedure and get donations to cover the rest. 1-800-230-PLAN (1-800-230-7526) to find the Planned Parenthood clinic nearest you. You have the choice between the pill (which can be taken up to 11weeks, at home or at a friends house) or the vacuum method (in clinic procedure). Personally I used the pill method so I could be at home with my husband but some women want to have the surgical, so it’s done and over with when they leave the clinic.

i asked myself that.. If a women aborts her baby at 20 wks (most states abortion is legal up to 24) its not considered murder but if someone kills that pregnant woman its considered double homicide.
So, if a pregnant women get an abortion they dont call it a baby but they call it a fetus but then if a pregnant woman gets killed they call it a baby… Hmmmm..

What a teen should do about being pregnant is be educated, prevention is worth so much! Hopefully, sex education will improve (no more abstinence only) so that less will find themselves pregnant due to ignorance.
1. She should really sit down and think about what would be right for her. Two futures are at stake, she needs to consider if she can emotionally, physically, mentally, and financially support a pregnancy. If yes, she should consider if she wants to put it up for adoption or keep it, keeping the good of everyone in mind. She should talk to a doctor and hopefully an adult she can trust, and hopefully a supportive boyfriend. But everything doesn’t always go that way.
2. Abortion should always be an available option. Making abortion illegal reduces women to incubators, turns the beauty of pregnancy and childbirth into something ugly and forced, and does not even reduce abortions, statistically. It is truly a very personal choice that when it comes down to it, is up to the woman/teen. The government should not govern reproductive choices, and neither should ignorant zealots on their high horses. Good luck on your study.
