Having something illegal won’t necessarily mean it won’t happen. Cannabis is illegal, yet children have easier access to it than tobacco, and the Dutch have lower drug use in every category compared to the United States. Desperate women will seek illegal abortions, or worse, do it themselves. They will end up not only killing their baby, but also themselves through unhygienic, disgusting means.

If we want to stop baby-murder, how will we accomplish this?

Making it illegal would be taking a step back in the progression of society, I say give the mother complete control of what she decides. Why?

1. Making it illegal would be violating certain freedom’s (anyone against this freedom should be revoked of their freedom of speech; see how it feels).
2. Forcing birth would increase a population that’s already dangerously high.
3. A baby born when it was not wanted is just inviting a hostile environment, should it live past a couple of weeks. The parent(s) would most likely neglect the child, depriving the child of a necessary childhood, or it would be sent into foster care, which is leaving a child in the hands of strangers who’s intentions may be malicious, or they would be put in an orphanage, where the child will not only feel neglected but will most likely miss out on childhood as well, among other things.

It may seem despicable to some people, but if you force birth, who are you protecting? The parents’? The baby’s? Or are you protecting your own selfish interests?

I am researching a bill for student congress on outlawing third term abortions. I want to know how young babies can be born and live, like premature babies.

The youngest baby known to survive was born at 20 weeks.
but i was a high-risk pregnancy, i went into preterm labor at 20 weeks, and they said as long as im 24 weeks, my baby will be fine.

so its 24 weeks they consider safe for preemies.

I have above question.How many abortions one can safely do with abortion pills? Because I already did 2 abortion with Mifepristone and misoprostol without any complecation. I need to do another one and dont want to prevent me from pregnanting in the futuer

Now follow me on this one. Abortions send babies directly to God. But you pro-life christians want to give them a chance at life here on earth. A chance to maybe become an atheist, and go to hell for ever.

They may be feeling that God had a plan for the baby, and the mother who aborted, took that away and killed it, ruining gods plan. But how could anyone have power to change God’s plan. It’s a big messy confusing circle. Like he knows what we’re going to do, though we have free choice. So he sent a little baby, just for it to be killed,….um to prove a point I guess, and solidify the fact that that woman is horrible and going to hell….who knows. lol Yeesh your question has me going in circles.

This is an excellent question. If we consider that it usually takes about a month or so to recover from an uneventful TOP, and let’s assume that the abortion was performed in the first trimester and ovulation resumes shortly thereafter.

A modern Feminist could probably have six to eight abortions per year so long as none are complicated too seriously.

Why would that be a problem? Are those women less healthy than other women? Are multiple abortions really bad for a woman’s body.

For the record, my view is that abortion should be legal and safe, but more importantly rare. How can the numbers of abortions taking place be reduced?

Increase the amount of sex education and birth control information that is available.

Make birth control accessible and affordable for young women.

Find culturally appropriate service providers to link with different ethnic groups and provide that information to minority populations in their own language if necessary

Make raising a child alone less difficult and financially tenuous by increasing welfare benefits, extending childcare provision and making real job training/educational opportunities available to single parents.

Stop using the issue as a political football and look at it as an essential part of social and health policy in a civilised society..
