We are both 17 and my girlfriend is against abortion, which I completely understand and respect. But does this usually mean that she would not be willing to have sex until marriage.

I know this is a personal question, but I would like some insight on it before I confront her myself. I would like to know if there are any women out there that are willing to do it, but are 100% against abortion.

The choice to have sex before marriage =/= being pro-abortion

There are plenty of people who choose to have sex without being married and are against abortion.
I’m positive there are people who want to wait until marriage but are fine with a womans right to choose.

How on earth did you get the idea that these beliefs have to go hand in hand?

it just depends on her. I mean I am 100% against abortion and it wouldnt stop me.
I would just make sure I use apropriate protection so I wouldnt be put in that situation (pregnancy)
Birth control and a condom maybe.
Just talk to her about it and let her know how u feel.
and think about it yourself, how would you feel if somehow she did get pregnant.
Would u leave, or be there for her?? Let her know how u feel about all that.

It just doesn’t make sense. Most vegetarians feel that animals have as much of a right to live as humans do, correct? so theniIf you are a vegetarian that DOES eat eggs, how can you be against abortion? eating an egg, is stopping a developing life. getting an abortion is stopping a developing life. So if you think animals are as substantial as humans are, you cannot be against abortion if you eat eggs, right?

you are right i am a vegitarian and i dont eat eggs people are always asking me why i dont eat eggs because they dont get it because they are not smart and dont care (about the animals)

There is a majority of Americans that are against abortion and do not agree with the UN trying to force other countries to change their views and allow abortion on demand in their countries.

I believe you. A couple of years ago I heard on the news that even 67% of all Democrats are against abortion.

Part of the problem is that social services like welfare, social security, unemployment compensation and section 8 housing have lessened the need for Americans to have large families like they did a century ago.

I hate to think that getting rid of social services is necessary to combat abortion — they truly are helpful programs for some people — but the cold reality may be that all Americans will stop supporting abortion only when government social services are no longer available to them. It could happen some day. It would only take several very conservative Republican administrations in a row to do it.

I’m Canadian and my government wants to pass a law making abortion illegal. How can that be?!??!!? I am so shocked and insulted that such laws can even have the possibility to exist. What if a young couple makes a mistake, or that the condom was perfored and there was a leakeage of a body fluid. Accidents happen!! And what it means that the couple have to change their lifestyle, abondon their dreams to raise an unwanted child?? What do you think?

Abortion should never have become legal in the first place, a baby is a baby at the moment of conception, by the time you even know you are pregnant the baby can already feel things, by the time the average abortion is done the baby’s heart is beating, the facial features are forming even the nails are growing. I know in canada that abortion is legal until month 9 which I find outrageous. I think its long over due for all countries to make abortion illegal, I agree people do make mistakes but abortion isn’t birth control and should never be used a a form of it with is what 95% of abortions are used for. People need to be held responsible for their actions, If you think you are ready to have sex make sure you are ready to have a baby. The baby should never be tortured and killed because the parents want to still enjoy their lives.If they aren’t ready to take care of a child then put him or her up for adoption this way the baby gets to live and the parents can go on with their lives.

Why is he for killing more people in other nations as well?

Seems killing all those people far out numbers the number of abortions he doesn’t want to occur.

And if I have his stance on abortion wrong (we all know how he flip-flops) and he is pro-abortion, well wouldn’t that add to the total number of people he is all for/pro-killing?

Why do pro-killers get to run for office?

It is obvious they are beliefs that stem from control issues. Some people want to control other people even if it is irrational. Irrational ideas are being for killing and against killing and repeating it’s sensical. Any ideas?

Are you aware that in Victoria, Australia, we have until October 7th to influence our politicians to vote against a Bill to decriminalise abortion up to 24 weeks for any reason and up to full term with the consent of two doctors?

i dont think an abortion at 24 weeks or beyond is something that should be legalised. It should be done earlier, no exceptions

I wanted the abortion because I couldn’t afford a baby. But people are eqully as judge mental about taking help from the government. Are these logical, loving people really qualified to judge me?

i am a christian, i am not pro abortion, i am pro choice. i do not agree with people using abortion as birth control. but for heaven’s sake, i can tell the difference between a mindless attitude and a real human drama.

Can you tell me if Obama favors abortion thus being Pro-Choice? I heard that he wants to allow abortions even up to the last day of a woman’s pregnancy and is in favor of letting the baby from these botched abortions just die a painful and miserable death. Is this right?

Obama, along with other Dems. like Hillary Clinton, is in favor of Partial-Birth abortion (infanticide). Obama’s runningmate, Joe Biden, is one of many that was in favor of BANNING partial-birth abortion! Out of the all the Democratic presedential candidates this year, Biden was the only one that was against patrial-birth abortion in 2003! Why the heck wasn’t he elected to run for office instead of Obama?!?!?

It’s so sad that the babies who do survive an abortion are left to die alone, fighting to breath, fighting live! It’s sickening! I cringe just thinking about it!

I look at my beautiful son, and sometimes wonder how a woman can agree to abort their baby. I’m so scared for the future if we continue to think life should be taken as lightly as to abort these innocent lives for our selfish reasons!

Of course, like anyone else, he doesn’t believe in abortion as a form of birth control (it’s a known FACT that many women "do use abortion as a form of birth control", because of the lack of restrictions!), if you do your research and stop believing what the media is telling you, then you would know that Obama WANTS abortion laws to change, in many opinions for the worst! He DOES NOT WANT THE BAN ON PARTIAL-BRITH ABORTION that was passed in ‘03; that is SICK!, and people like you who think that’s okay, are just as disgusting and inhumane as he is! He also wants minors to be able to cross state lines to have an abortion, and without their parents consent!…..that is wrong….that gives little girls the idea that they can have sex, and if they do get pregnant, they can easily have an abortion in another state if their state requires that the minor have parental consent. As long as a female is under the age of 18, she should be required to tell her parents! He wants to improve sex education, but what the hell has that ever done for anybody….people have always and will always do what they want when it comes to sex….sex education will not change their minds. Putting restrtictions on abortion will change things, and Obama is not in favor of restrictions needed to help prevent women from using abortion as a form of birth control. Please educate yourself on your candidate before electing them into office, even though perhaps it may be too late to say that, because of early voting.

And by the way, during the debate you’re speaking of, Obama stuttered on a lot of what he was saying…..to many people, that spells out a complete LIAR!!! To be honest I think Obama will be voted into office, and I’m scared to to death on what he plans to do to this country! If McCain is voted into office, I’ll still be scared, because he wants to keep going on with these damn wars until we "WIN"….those crazy people over there are not gonna give in to the US so easily! We’re all killing eachother over there for B.S. reasons, what’s the real point. America is just so freakn obsessed with power, that we would "FORCE" our soldiers to go into battle, just to kill off anti-americans; we can’t even control many of the anti-Americans that live in America. We’ll never be able to wipe off every anti-American, although that would be great…but I’m not willing to let my husband (AF) be killed, so that America can scare these other countries into being PRO-AMERICA.

I don’t like either candidates, honestly, neither of them have put out a CLEAR plan as to what they are going to do…I just voted based on who had better views on what I’m most interested in…my interests are war, economy, and taxes; I don’t vote based on abortion because it’ll never be banned, no matter what; someone on either side (pro-life or pro-"choice") isn’t ever going to fully agree with abortion laws.

So whatever…Obama’s a liar and pro-murder. Like I said, even his runningmate isn’t as heartless as to vote against the ban of partial-birth abortion, like Obama. If you try to defend that or just disagree, then you’re just as sick as Obama is!
