I want to find an easy way to get the kids to put their toys and books away. I was in a classroom once where they had everything put out on bookcases, and each one had photos of toys in the spot where the toys were supposed to go. I am going to try this. I will line the walls with Kids Bookcases
and then have the kids help me figure out where they would like to put everything. Then I will take pictures of everything and tape them to the places where the toys go. Now even the youngest ones will be able to put them away.

Well, I just can’t believe the difference this device has made to the quality of our life! It sounds like a bit of an exaggeration, but I can’t emphasize the way our family journeys have been transformed by such a cheap and simple gadget. It used to be so stressful for both my children and I didn’t really understand why. Also I have to admit, that my attention wasn’t fully on the road as I was trying to pacify or entertain my two young children and drive at the same time. I never felt comfortable that my driving was as safe as it could be with such a precious cargo. That has now all changed and both my kids can see me and we can all stay in eye contact with minimum distraction from watching the road. If you drive with children in the back of your car try a baby car rear view mirror

I just spent the weekend helping my daughter do her history project. We went to Hobby Lobby to buy the board. She typed up everything herself. This is the first year where I just let her take the lead and do what she wanted to with the project. Boy, was it hard. She is in 5th grade now and next year she will be in middle school so I am trying to take a hands off approach this year so she can be more independent. We worked long hours so I drunk shakes from Medifast when I could not get a break.

6 Steps To Safe Tires…

1. Check your tire pressure regularly. A digital tire gauge is an easy way to do that. It’s advisable to check your tire pressure once a month and always, before you set out on a long trip.

2. Take care of under-inflated tires right away. The problem with such tires is that they create more heat, which can cause tire failure.

3. Always keep a spare tire. And make sure that tire is properly inflated as well, should you need it

4. Check for tread depth. You can do this by placing the edge of a penny upside down into the grooves of the tire’s tread. If you can see all of Abe Lincoln’s head, it’s time for new tires. Rotating your tires every 5,000 to 7,000 miles will help ensure that your tires all wear out at the same rate.

5. When you check tire pressure every month, also check for tire damage such as cuts, cracks or bulges.

6. If you find out that your tire is cut or damaged, do not procrastinate. Replace it right away.

Sometimes, tire blowouts can also occur because of a defective tire. If you have sustained injuries because of an accident, caused by a defective tire, please contact an experienced Orange County Lawyer to find out more information about your legal rights and options.

This is the real youth movement that the mature dating is pioneering. It is more than dying the hair or using Botox and wrinkle creams. It is about being strong role models to the youth coming up that they don’t have to give up on their dreams and that their idealism and excitement in living can thrive no matter what age they are. And if that is the legacy of the baby boomer generation, it’s a fine ethic for them to leave behind for future generations to enjoy. Many other generations should be learning from them and taking their lead on how to live a fulfilling life.

Coffee Makers

The first modern method for making coffee—drip brewing—is more than 125 years old, and its design had changed little. The “Biggin”, originating in France ca. 1800, was a two-level pot holding coffee in an upper compartment into which water was poured, to drain through holes in the bottom of the compartment into the coffee pot below. Around the same time, a French inventor developed the “pumping percolator”, in which boiling water in a bottom chamber forces itself up a tube and then trickles (percolates) through the ground coffee back into the bottom chamber.

Today we enjoy our cup of flavoured coffee without so much toik thanks to the several types and models of Programmable Coffeemakers we can choose to purchase.

Unlikely Step Parent

When my husband of 24 years unexpectedly asked for a divorce, I never dreamed things would turn out as good as they did. I started dating a 60 year old bachelor – yes, a bachelor. No kids either, unless you count the cats. My teenage son and he knew each other as we were coworkers but thought he was a big “dork”. That dorkiness worked to their advantage. From the first dinner when they laughed for hours over a downloaded iphone application, they have become friends. Not child and step parent but friends and that turns out to be just what my son needed. As for my life-long bachelor now husband, he has decided step parenting isn’t as scary as he thought it would be.
