How to Practice Your French
February 112010
It is clear that practicing a language is integral to learning how to speak it properly. If you’ve been holding back your talents because you feel there is no way to learn French now, there’s a way to get the juices flowing.
Your local library system or video store is likely to have a section dedicated to foreign movies. Make a habit of renting one every week.
Another strategy is to look on your TV. Public TV stations in major metropolitan areas often feature an hour or so several times per week to French programming. If it’s not there, then consider contacting your cable or satellite company. Many of them carry “TV 5 Monde”, the international version of a popular French TV station. Keep your eyes peeled and many more resources will present themselves.
